lane on southbound john daly is completely shut down. chp says it's expected to be closed for the next couple of hours. as you can see, there's video from earlier. fire trucks and chp on scene trying to look at the car that went over the cliff. we heard reports that around 4:30, the car drove over here in this area. now they have called in a tow truck and about 350 feet of cable to try to get that car out. two people were involved in the collision. one person again taken to a local hospital. to be treated for moderate to major injuries, the other with minor injuries who refused treatment. chp got a call from a concerned friend saying a person was missing possibly over a cliff. that's what they found on scene. back out live i'm told an investigation will be ongoing. they don't know exactly when they are going to pull out this car. they say that they are going to have to figure out if they are going to wait for daylight, and basically figure out a strategy and how they can pull it out but those two people in the car have been taken out and one is in the hospital with major injuries. the
. >> and developing news. authorities have caught up with founder john mcafee. he was arrested in guatemala accused of entering the country illegally. the 67-year-old who founded mac uh fee anti-virus software has been on the run for the past month after officials in belize tried to question him about the death of a neighbor. mac uh fee has denied any wrong doing. abc news spoke with mcafee in guatemala. >> how would i know? >> mcafee says he requested asylum in guatemala. he claims he is being persecuted for refusing to donate to local politicians. >>> a reprieve for local politicians. it will not be taken over by authorities. the city reached a deal with civil rights attorneys. they want a deal that will require them to make more than 50 reforms that still haven't happened. the judge threatened to give control to federal authorities. if oaknd la does not reform -- if oakland does not reform faster. the person will have the power to demote staff and over rule the chief and even fire the chief. the civil rights attorneys and the mayor says it is power is necessary to make the reform. >> he will hav

of his former students. in his statement of probable cause to arrest james izumizaki, detective john costenbader says izumizaki was a teacher in the same school as the victim. so izumizaki was aware the the victim was 18 years of age. the documents say in late september, the victim's father was made aware of his daughter's relationship with izumizaki by a parent of a close friend of the victim. the father obtained izumizaki's cell phone records and discovered thousands of text messages between his daughter and izumizaki from may to september. texts, photos and videos were shared between the two at all times of the day. detective costenbader says some as late as mdinight and past three o'clock in the morning. the victim was also listed as a friend on izumizaki's facebook page. the documents say the father confronted his daughter. she confirmed the relationship started while she attended albany middle school and continued after she left. costenbader says the victim told her father that the text messages were flirtatious and that led to izumizaki kissing the victim and touching her. the
